Who we are

A software company built around the part most vendors skip.

LunarTech Solutions LLC is a software services and technology consulting company. We provide custom software development, software engineering and implementation, technical consulting and project support, digital solutions, and contractor and consultant management for clients across a range of industries.

We deliver through a small internal team and a managed roster of vetted independent contractors. That combination is deliberate: it lets us staff a project with the right specialists without carrying a bench, and it keeps the same people accountable for the work from the first scoping call to the handover.

We work the way a good in-house team would, if you had the headcount for one. We learn how your business actually runs before we open an editor, we tell you when something is not worth building, and we hand over code you can maintain without us.

Working software over status reports

You get a running staging environment in the first weeks, not a demo at the end. Progress you can click on is the only progress we report.

You own everything

Source code, repository history, infrastructure accounts, and documentation are yours from day one. No licence to renew, no exit fee, no platform you cannot leave.

Plain language

No jargon in a status update and no surprises in an invoice. If something is going to take longer, you hear it from us before you have to ask.

Built to be handed over

Every engagement ships with tests, documentation, and a walkthrough. The best outcome is that your team does not need us for routine changes.

How we work

Four stages, fixed checkpoints, no surprises.

You always know what is happening now, what is next, and what we need from you to keep moving. The same process whether it is a two-week integration or a platform rebuild.

  1. 01

    Scope

We start with the business problem, not the feature list. Who uses this, what it has to change, and what it is worth — then a written scope with a fixed price rather than an open-ended hourly estimate.

    • Stakeholder interviews
    • Current-state review
    • Success criteria
    • Fixed-price proposal
  2. 02

    Design

Architecture and interface decided before implementation starts, and reviewed with your team. Data model, service boundaries, and the trade-offs behind each choice, written down where they can be argued with.

    • Interface design
    • Delivery plan
  3. 03

    Build

Typed, tested, reviewed code delivered in increments against a shared board. You get a running staging environment in the first weeks, so feedback lands while it is still cheap to act on.

    • Staging environment
    • CI/CD pipeline
    • Automated tests
    • Security & performance review

    Deploy & support

We handle release, monitoring, and the handover, then stay available. Launch day is a checkpoint, not the finish line — and the documentation is written so your team can take it from there.

    • Production deployment
    • Monitoring & alerting
    • Documentation & training
    • Ongoing support

Small team, senior work, and figures we can actually stand behind.

Questions

The things people ask before they call.

Costs, timelines, code ownership, and how we staff a project. If the answer you need is not here, ask us directly — we will give you a straight one.

What does LunarTech Solutions do?

We are a software services and technology consulting company. We provide custom software development, software engineering and implementation, technical consulting and project support, digital solutions such as integrations and migrations, and managed contractor and consultant placement. Most engagements combine two or three of those.

How much does a custom software project cost?

Most focused projects land between $15,000 and $75,000 depending on scope, integrations, and how much of the system already exists. Consulting engagements and managed contractor placements are quoted separately, monthly or per placement. We give you a fixed price after a scoping call rather than billing open-ended hours, so you know the number before you commit.

How long does a project take?

A focused build is usually eight to sixteen weeks from kickoff to production. Integrations and migrations are often shorter; platform rebuilds and multi-system projects run longer. The biggest variable is how quickly decisions and access come back from your side, so we schedule those checkpoints in advance rather than discovering them late.

Who owns the code you write?

You do, in full, on final payment. That covers source code, repository history, infrastructure accounts, and documentation. We hand over the repository and a recorded walkthrough at delivery, and you can take the project to another team at any point without asking our permission or paying an exit fee.

Do you work with our existing engineering team?

Regularly, and it is often the fastest route. We work inside your repository, ticket tracker, and review process, matching the conventions already in place. For longer engagements we place managed contractors who join your stand-ups while quality review and line management stay with us.

Do you use independent contractors?

Yes. We deliver through a small internal team plus a managed roster of vetted independent contractors, which lets us staff a project with the right specialists without carrying a bench. Every contractor is technically screened and reference-checked before placement, and all of their work passes our review before it reaches your codebase.

What happens after the software is delivered?

Every project includes thirty days of post-delivery support and a documentation walkthrough so your team can handle routine changes. Beyond that we offer monthly support covering monitoring, updates, and a response commitment for issues. It is entirely optional — the handover is built so an in-house team can take over.

Where are your clients based?

Across the United States. Most of the work happens over shared repositories, documents, and scheduled calls, so location rarely matters — we are comfortable with time zones from Eastern to Pacific, and we are happy to meet in person where that is practical.

Let’s talk about what you’re building.

Tell us where you are and what you need. You will hear back within two business days with honest thoughts on scope, budget, and whether we are the right studio for it.
